Update on Project 3

 

I want to start combining the image from summer to fall. With one of my friends standing in the middle. I combined the background with my friend and added some shadows. I want to go find some trees I can add on the right that are losing leafs to show more of the fall vibe.

    I think the image you are trying to create feels very lonely, but in a good way. I get the sense we should be accept what we have because that's all we can do. I agree about adding more fall trees and maybe have some colorful leaves on the road as well.

    Also another way to demonstrate the transition from summer to fall, what if you took. pictures of your friend in summer clothes and then slowly transitioning with four or five figures leading up to that final stance. Maybe the very last figure (the one you have now) is the most prominent, and the others are slightly opaque.

    I’m enjoying the aesthetic of your image and I think your concept will be fun to execute! I think showing the motion of the change in an abstract way would be interesting.

Process Work/ Update

  This is the image I have drawn of the faucet. I am not entirely happy with it yet. I would like to add more texture and to do a little more shading, but I think it is coming together nicely. Ive started to edit the background image and also incorporate the drawing of the faucet. This was just to get an image in my head to make sure things will work out. I think if I keep pushing detail and focus on making the faucet feel inclusive to the rocks and water it will help.
