This sounds like a great idea because it stems a lot from our "destroy the icon" project since you'd be taking something someone else has and making it your own.
I also find your chosen images really compelling and interesting. Would you be using the same color palette? Would you use different typefaces? Different shapes for the texture? Is the final one big page in photoshop?
The one image I find most interesting is the close up of the show because it doesn't give it away right away, and having this small reveal effect make the composition more engaging.
I find this so interesting because seeing what you’re inspired by and the work I’ve seen you do thus far, it coincides so well. I’m curious to see how you’ll do this and I’m hoping it’ll be something different from the “destroy the icon” project.
This is the image I have drawn of the faucet. I am not entirely happy with it yet. I would like to add more texture and to do a little more shading, but I think it is coming together nicely. Ive started to edit the background image and also incorporate the drawing of the faucet. This was just to get an image in my head to make sure things will work out. I think if I keep pushing detail and focus on making the faucet feel inclusive to the rocks and water it will help.

Ooh that sounds interesting. What kind of image are you going to create? Another design style layout or something completely divergent?
ReplyDeleteI like the concept but I wonder how you'll put it all together? I look forward to seeing your work!
